When it comes to holiday parties and celebrating this time of year, I pretty much exclusively reach for sparkling wine. Sparkling wine is such a fun topic because there are so many different, incredible types out there that people still don’t know much about. Not many people realize that Cava is also produced in the same method as Champagne, and can produce some of the best sparkling wines in the world! The best part is they are easily accessible and you can find them in any wine shop.

Cap Classique isn’t as easily accessible as Champagne or Cava, but when you are able to get your hands on a bottle they are some of the best traditional method sparkling wines with exceptional value. This has become some of my favorite sparkling wine since our recent trip to South Africa.

If you love sparkling wine from France but don’t want to pay the price tag of Champagne, a Crémant from another region in France is always a super safe bet! These wines are made in the traditional method just like Champagne, but they don’t come from the Champagne region.
